Skillorama
Skillorama is a day out for Joeys and Cubs at Redcliffe Showgrounds, run each September by Redcliffe District. Scouts, Venturers and Rovers from Scout Groups across South East Queensland design, build and run the activity bases, and up to 1,300 Joeys and Cubs go round them. It has been running for over 50 years.

What Happens at Skillorama
Each Scout Group runs its own activity base, competing for a “Best Base” award. Past bases have included mud runs, rope bridges, crate stacking, catapults, canoeing on the dam, damper cooking and knot tying. Joeys and Cubs stay with their Bardon leaders as they move between bases, and take home a show bag and badge.
Wear full uniform and bring a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, closed-toe shoes, food for the day (or money for food stalls) and a change of clothes, as some activities get muddy. Bardon Scouts usually travels together; your Section Leader will confirm transport and times.
Cost and Registration
There’s a registration fee, which covers the badge, show bag and activities. Your Joey or Cub Leader registers the group and will tell you the cost when registration opens, several months before the day. Places are limited.
