Sign In and Out

For the safety and security of all our Scouts, Bardon Scouts requires parents or guardians to sign their children in and out at every meeting and event.

How It Works

At Every Meeting and Event:

  • A sign-in sheet will be available at the meeting location
  • The parent or guardian dropping off must sign their child in upon arrival
  • The parent or guardian collecting must sign their child out at the end of the meeting or event

Why We Require Sign In/Out:

  • Ensures we know exactly which children are present
  • Provides accurate attendance records for safety and insurance purposes
  • Confirms authorised adults are dropping off and collecting children
  • Helps leaders account for all Scouts during activities
  • Creates a clear record of arrival and departure times

Who Must Sign In and Out

Required for:

  • Joeys
  • Cubs
  • Scouts
  • Venturers

Venturers - Self Sign-In: Venturers who are driving themselves to Scouts may sign themselves in and out if they have prearranged permission from their parents.

Important Information

Late Pick-Up Please collect your child on time. If you’re running late, contact your Section Leader as soon as possible. Leaders cannot leave until all children have been safely collected.

Safety First These procedures are in place to protect your child. We appreciate your cooperation in following the sign-in and sign-out requirements at every meeting and event.
