Friends of Bardon Scouts
Friends of Bardon Scouts are people who have been part of the group and want to stay in touch: former leaders and committee members, parents whose children have moved on, past supporters, former Scouts who grew up at Bardon, and anyone in the community who supports what we do.
Staying Connected
Friends are invited to special events, celebrations and reunions, and hear about the group’s milestones. In particular, all Friends are welcome at the Annual Report Presentation each March, with updates from each section, the financial report and plans for the year ahead, and a chance to catch up with the Bardon Scouts community.
How to Become a Friend
Contact us with your name, your connection to Bardon Scouts (for example leader, parent or committee member), the years you were involved, and the email address you’d like us to use. We’ll add you to the Friends list.
Ways to Help
There’s no obligation, but Friends often help by coming along to events, offering advice or occasional help in their area of expertise, telling local families about Bardon Scouts, and sharing their own Scouting stories.
If you’d like to be more involved again, you’re welcome to volunteer as a leader, join the Committee, become an Adult Supporter, or help on the Parent Roster if you still have a child in the group.
