Before You Join
Bardon Scouts is a community-based program that thrives on parent involvement and support. Before joining, it’s helpful to understand what’s expected of families.
Parent Involvement
Parent Roster - All families are expected to assist with one meeting per term and support fundraising activities. This helps our leaders deliver quality programs and builds a strong Scout community.
Sign In and Out - For safety and security, parents must sign their children in and out at every meeting and event (except Venturers who may self-sign with permission).
Volunteer Opportunities - We encourage parents to get involved beyond the minimum requirements! Whether as an Adult Supporter, occasional helper, or Committee member, your involvement enriches the Scouting experience for all our young people.
Scouting works best when families are engaged and supportive. We look forward to welcoming you to our Scout community!
