Your First Night

What a new family needs for their child’s first meeting. Your section’s page has its meeting day and time.

Before your first night

• Confirm with your Section Leader by email before you come. Some meetings are held away from the Den, so you must check with them first. If you don’t have their email yet, use the contact form.
• Complete Form F6 and bring it with you: Form F6 - Non-Member Activity Indemnity and Release (PDF).

Where to go

The Den is at 11 Bee Street, Bardon. Parking is limited to Bee Street and the surrounding streets.

What to wear

Comfortable clothes that can get wet or dirty, and closed-in shoes. Scout activities are outside, so add a jumper if it’s cold.

What to bring

A water bottle.

Signing in and out

Sign your child in when you arrive and out when you collect them. The Sign In and Out page explains how it works.

Staying or dropping off

You’re welcome to stay for the meeting, but you don’t have to.

What happens

The meeting starts with an opening parade. The program runs until the closing parade at the end.
