
Cuboree
Cuboree is Queensland’s state camp for Cubs, run by Scouts Queensland every two to three years. Over 800 Cubs from across the state camp together for five days of activities, and for many it’s their first long stay away from home.

What Happens at Cuboree
Cubs camp in Patrols, grouped into Units and Subcamps, each Subcamp with its own kitchen and camping area. Over the five days they rotate through activities such as abseiling, swimming, STEM challenges, crafts and bushcraft, and work on Special Interest Area projects towards their Milestones. Evenings have campfires and wide games. Each Cuboree has a theme; 2026’s was “Shake It Up!”.
Cost and Registration
Registration is coordinated by your Cub Leader and opens many months before the event. It includes all meals, activities and a Cuboree pack (shirt, hat, scarf, woggle and badges). A packing list is provided when you register. Places are limited, so talk to your Cub Leader early.
Adult volunteers help run Cuboree. If you’d like to help, speak to your Cub Leader.
