Containers for Change
You can support Bardon Scouts by donating your empty drink containers. Under Queensland’s Containers for Change scheme, each eligible container is worth 10c, and the refunds from containers donated to us go to the group.
How to Donate
Leave your empty containers in the Containers for Change trailer at the front of the Scout Den, 11 Bee Street, Bardon. Please take the lids off first.
You can also take containers to any Containers for Change refund point in Queensland and donate the refund to us by quoting our scheme ID:
Bardon Scout Group scheme ID: C10616619
What Can Be Donated
Most aluminium, glass, plastic, steel and paperboard drink containers from 150ml to 3 litres are eligible. Look for the 10c mark on the label.
If you’re not sure about a container, check it on the Containers for Change website.
