Our Committee

The Bardon Scouts Group Committee is responsible for the governance and management of our Scout Group. Our committee members are dedicated volunteers who work to ensure our young people have the best possible Scouting experience.

The committee is responsible for fundraising and parent involvement, ensuring our Scout Group has the resources and community support needed to deliver quality programs.

Committee Roles

The committee is led by the Group Committee Executive: the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. The Group Leader leads the Group as a whole, including the uniformed leaders and the committee (see Group Structure).

Committee Meetings

Committee meetings are held monthly for approximately 1 hour, normally on Tuesday or Thursday evenings during the Scout meetings. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss group matters, plan activities, fundraising initiatives, and make decisions about the running of the group.
