Annual Report Presentation
The Annual Report Presentation (ARP) is Bardon Scouts’ annual general meeting. Families, leaders, the committee and supporters hear how the group went over the past year, see the finances, and meet the committee for the year ahead. Everyone in the Bardon Scouts community is welcome.
Event Details
When: March each year (the date is announced several weeks ahead) Time: Usually 7:00pm to 9:00pm Where: The Scout Den, 11 Bee Street, Bardon, unless another venue is announced Who: Parents, leaders, committee members and supporters
What Happens at the ARP
The meeting opens with a welcome and the adoption of last year’s minutes. The Treasurer presents the year’s financial statement, and there are reports on the Den and equipment, from the committee, and from each section (Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers). The Group Leader gives an overview of the year and plans for the next. The committee for the coming year is announced, and volunteers are thanked. There’s time for questions throughout, and light refreshments.
The agenda is sent out before the meeting, and the minutes are sent to families afterwards. You can send questions in advance if you can’t attend.
Cost and Registration
It’s free, and you don’t usually need to RSVP. Dress is casual.
