Our Values

Youth Leading, Adults Supporting

Scouting is youth-led, with young people encouraged to take the lead and make decisions about their adventures. Adult volunteers support and guide them, helping them develop confidence and leadership skills.

Learning by Doing

Scouts learn best through hands-on experiences. Whether it’s camping, hiking, learning new skills, or helping in the community, Scouts are always doing, trying, and growing.

Community and Service

Scouts are active members of their community. We participate in ANZAC Day services, Clean Up Australia Day, and other community events. Scouts learn the importance of giving back and making a positive difference.

About Bardon Scout Group

Bardon Scout Group has been serving the local community for many years, providing young people with opportunities for adventure, friendship, and personal growth.

We meet at our Scout Den at 11 Bee Street, Bardon, where Scouts from Cubs to Venturers gather weekly for activities, games, and planning their next adventure.

What We Do

Camping and Hiking - Overnight camps, bush walks, and outdoor adventures
Skills Development - From cooking to first aid, navigation to leadership
Community Service - ANZAC Day parades, fundraising, environmental projects
Friendships - Making lifelong friends and being part of a global movement
Personal Growth - Building confidence, resilience, and independence
